KARACHI: Sindh lockdown has been extended by 30 days till 15 August 2020 according to a notification issued by the Sindh Home Department as coronavirus cases keep mounting in the province.
The notification states that the decision to extend Sindh lockdown is in line with the discussion at the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) and the National Coordination Committee (NCC).

Sindh Government has started adopting the Federal Government’s smart lockdown strategy as well and many areas in District South Karachi and District West Karachi were previously placed under smart lockdown after emergence of high number of coronavirus cases.
Furthermore, the Government of Sindh has given a green signal to set up cattle markets across the province but with implementation of strict standard operating procedures (SOPs).
