KARACHI: Yet another incident of target killing took place in the financial hub on Tuesday, A man shot dead near Kala Pul, Karachi.
The deceased has been identified as Riaz, son of Raees Khan, The body of the deceased was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for an autopsy.
Police sources told media, the incident appears to be target killing.
So far Police is investigating and gathering CCTV footage data from nearby location to identify the killer.
It appears once again the new wave of Target Killing has started in Karachi as Three people were assassinated when Unidentified person opened fire on two cars at NIPA chowrangi.

The vehicles were identified as Moulana Taqi Usmani and Moulana Amir Shahab, Moulana Taqi remained unharmed.
Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has carried out multiple operations and have arrested four target killers.
The suspects were identified as Muhammad Irfan, Naimat Ali, Salman Hashmi, and Nasir.
During the initial investigation, target killers had confessed to killing more than 13 people on the directions of their party.
Police officials had said that one suspect was allegedly associated with Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and rest of three were affiliated with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (London).
The militant wing of MQM-London went underground when Rangers and Police carried out operation in Karachi.
So far Rangers and Police have managed to bring the peace back to Karachi however the recent incident shows that the streets of Karachi are unsafe and MQM-London militant wing is active and carrying out target killings.
