Female Driver Kills Two, Injures Several in Karsaz Road Accident

KARACHI: A tragic accident took place on Monday at Karsaz Road, when a female drove her white Prado (SUV) over multiple motorcyclists and cars killing two people including a woman and injuring seven others.

According to the initial investigation, the female driver, identified as Natasha Danish Iqbal, allegedly the wife of an industrialist, was found intoxicated at the scene. She was detained by the public before being arrested by the police.

The victims, Amna Arif and her father, brother of Sir Imtiaz Arif, tragically lost their lives today in a traffic accident in the Karsaz accident.

Amna Arif was a student at IQRA University, Gulshan Campus.

The victims have been identified as Imran Arif and Amina. Police officials disclosed that the driver, who was driving an SUV, collided with motorcycles and other vehicles during the incident.

The White Prado (SUV) vehicle involved is registered under a private company’s name. The female driver (Natasha) reportedly attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended by the crowd before being handed over to the authorities.

Police have confirmed the detention of two female suspects. Eyewitnesses described the horrific scene as the SUV barreled over motorcycles near Kangri House.

Authorities are currently conducting an investigation with the detained suspects to uncover more information about the tragic event.

Bahadurabad Police Station SHO Muhammad Naeem identified the woman at the center of the accident as Natasha Danish, a close relative of industrialist Danish Iqbal. Natasha informed the police that she had just left her home in KDA Scheme One when she lost control of her vehicle, leading to the fatal crash.

SHO Naeem further revealed that Natasha, who is married, is undergoing legal action. She reportedly holds a British driving license and is currently in a state of mental distress following the incident.

The investigation continues as authorities seek to understand the full circumstances surrounding this tragic accident.
