KARACHI TRAFFIC PLAN: The city will witness two major processions on Friday, 13th September 2024, in connection with the 8th Rabi-Ul-Awal.
These processions are expected to cause significant traffic disruptions in multiple areas of the city. Commuters are advised to plan their travel routes accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
First Procession:
- Start Time: 6:30 AM
- Expected Conclusion: 12:00 PM (Noon)
- Route: The procession will commence from Nishtar Park, proceed through Naumaish, Saddar, M.A. Jinnah Road, and will conclude at Kharadar.

- Lasbela towards Nishtar Road (Garden)
- Kashmir Road
- Shahrah-e-Quaideen
- Shahrah-e-Faisal
- Corridor-3
- I.I. Chundrigar Road
- Shahrah-e-Liaquat
- Maripur Road
Second Procession:
- Start Time: 1:00 PM
- Expected Conclusion: Midnight
- Route: The second procession will begin at Rizvia Chowrangi, continue through Nazimabad, Lasbela, Teenhatti, PIB Colony, Jail Road, Yadgar Fish Turning at Jamshed Road, and will end at Marten Road.

- Shahrah-e-Faisal
- M.A. Jinnah Road
- Garden to Bara Board
- Saddar Corridor-3
- New M.A. Jinnah Road to University Road
Important Notice: During peak hours, these processions are likely to result in severe traffic congestion along the mentioned routes. Roads in the city center and key arteries leading to the procession areas may be particularly affected.
