KARACHI: The Sindh government has decided to keep all educational institutions that includes private and public schools, colleges and universities to remain closed in the province till 13 March 2020 amid new coronavirus cases that have emerged in Pakistan.
The decision was taken in a meeting presided by Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah according to the spokesperson of the CM.
Earlier the government of Sindh announced that all educational institutions will remain closed in the province for two days however, they have decided to extend that period keeping into consideration the isolation period of the suspected patients to come full term.

Meanwhile, all educational institutions will remain closed in Balochistan till 15 March 2020 and the Matriculation Examination in the province had been postponed until a later date.
Coronavirus has so far taken 3,001 lives globally with a total of 88,300 registered cases with most of these in China.
There have been new cases of coronavirus that have emerged in Pakistan that includes one in Sindh while the other in Rawalpindi.
