KARACHI: The Sindh Food Authority (SFA) raids Arizona Grill Restuarant’s Godown and recovered expired Beef Meat which was being served to the customers.
The SFA did not disclose the location of the Godown. However, The Director Sindh Food Authority Abrar Shiekh said Godown contained expired food items, including beverages and meat that was unfit for consumption with the expiry date clearly visible.
“The meat was rotten and stinking, and we have removed it from the scene. It will be discarded because, otherwise, it is likely to cause and spread other diseases,” Sheikh said.
The SFA officials collected the samples of edibles present inside and seat the godown.
An employee arrested said to be transferring the expired meat was also taken into custody for further investigation.
