KARACHI: The Government of Sindh given a green signal to resume Intercity Transport operations on Tuesday.
A Meeting held between Transport minister Awais Qadir Shah and Transporters association had an agreement that the transporters will ensure the safety of passengers traveling in busses will ensure social distancing.
The buses will not be overloaded and the Bus driver and conductor will wear face masks and gloves and ensure that the passengers sit 3 feet away from each other.

The Transport minister assured that strict action will be taken against those who don’t follow the SOPs
The Intercity transport service was suspended in the first week of March 2020 when Government of Sindh imposed Lockdown.
Meanwhile, There’s no confirmation of giving fare relief to the public as petroleum prices were slashed constantly since march 2020.

Partial lockdown will continue in Sindh till June 30, 2020 as the Home Department issued notification that Gyms, Cinemas, wedding halls, beauty saloons and Education Institutes will remain closed.
Businesses are allowed for five days a week meanwhile, A complete lock down will be observed on Saturday and Sunday.
