CDA Officials visits Soan Garden Society

On the direction of Chairman CDA,the Director Building Control-II visited the Soan Garden Socitey situated on Islamabad Expressway near soan river. It has been observed at site that:

I) No proper play ground exists in the society for children play and for walk.Nominal space of less than kanal is reserved for parks which have also not fully developed.

II) No graveyard exists at site and previous management has converted the space for residential plots and houses have also been constructed at site

III) previous management converted residential plot into commercial and high rise buildings stand constructed at site

IV) No fire fighting equipments and machinery exits at site

V) Prayer halls were shrinked

VI) No basic Health units observed at the site

VII) No proper sanitation staff

VIII) Previous management committee created plots more than the approved LOP and on river side and as whole massive illegalities observed in the society.
The management was directed to implement the Building Bye laws at site and stop all construction at site in accordance with the law.

Furthermore, CDA wil extend its support to the current management in Enforcement of rules and regulations and utmost care to be taken in redressal of public grievances

The public is informed in their own interest not to make any investment in any housing society without clarification from CDA and it should be confirmed that plot exists as per approved layout plan of CDA.
