A Swedish women, who works at an international organization in Pakistan, was allegedly raped by her security guard at her house in Sector G-6/4 in Islamabad on Tuesday.
The official, who in a Swedish national, approached the Aabpara Police Station to register the complaint against the security guard deployed at her residence. The First Information Report (FIR) was registered under Sections 376 and 377 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and an investigation has been into the incident, while the accused has been taken into custody.
According to the FIR, the Swedish woman has been living in Islamabad since January 10 and the security guard, who allegedly raped her, was deployed at her residence in G-6/4 since March 11. The FIR stated that the security guard had entered her bedroom and overpowered the victim, adding that he tried to suffocate her and later raped her.
“I was asleep in my bedroom at around 11:30pm when some noise woke me up and I sensed someone’s presence in the room. Then someone attacked me from behind but I couldn’t recognize who it was due to the dark,” said the Swedish woman in the FIR.
The victim said that the attacker was a lot more powerful than her as he gagged her mouth with his hands and raped her. “I felt so suffocated that I could have died.” she added in the First Information Report (FIR). Thee Swedish woman added that she recognized the assaulter when she requested him to let her go to the washroom.
She said that the rapist was her guard, who was deployed by a security company at her residence.
