ISLAMABAD: The District magistrate Islamabad has issued a notice to seal Taramri Chowk due to infected cases of COVID-19 reported from the area.
The notice issued on April 9 states the step is taken on the recommandation of District health Office. The step is taken after after receiving recent confirmed reports of individuals infected with Novel Coronavirus.
The recent cases were reported from individuals residing in Main Street and Street C-2, Lane-C, Irfanabad, Taramri Chowk, Islamabad.
The area is sealed to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Further, Islamabad Police, Rangers and Pakistan Army has been requested to cordon off the area.
As many as 16 individual have been found infected with the virus.

On March 26, after receiving confirmed cases of COVID-19 of individuals residing in Rimsha Colony, H-9, Islamabad and Shahzad Town Islamabad, these localities were sealed to curb the spread of coronavirus. The restriction was removed from these localities since April 1.
Bara Kahu was also sealed after Tablighi Jamat people were diagnosed with coronavirus. Bara Kahu recorded maximum number of cases and it still remains sealed.
