Three people were shot dead in Khairpur after which protesters staged a sit-in at the National Highway, blocking the main road for hours demanding justice for the victims.
According to the details, the incident occured in Katcha area of Piryoloi in Khairpur, where three people, including two madrassa students were shot dead by unidentified assailants.
The victims have been identified as Abu Bakar, Siraj and Abdul Rehman Bhutto, however, there is no information about the alleged muderers.
The bodies of the victims were shifted to Civil Hospital Khairpur and later handed over to the families of the deceased.
Instead of burying the victims, the families took the bodies and staged a sit-in at the Baberloi Bypass of the National Highway in Khairpur and refused to disperse, saying that they would continue their protest until the killer are arrested and justice is given to the victims.
