Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) had announced a massive hike in the price of the new Toyota Land Cruiser in Pakistan. According to the details, the company has hiked the price of its full-sized SUV by Rs. 28 million, which is not unexpected considering the vehicle is a Completely Built Unit (CBU) and the Pakistani Rupee is in constant devaluation against the US Dollar.

New Toyota Land Cruiser Price in Pakistan
The price of the Toyota Land Cruiser in Pakistan is Rs. 138,319,000 after the increase of Rs. 28,920,000 compared to the old price of Rs. 109,399,000. Furthermore, the price hike for the Toyota Land Cruiser is the result of increased taxation on imported vehicles aka Completely Built Units (CBUs).
Engine and Transmission
The new Toyota Land Cruiser is powered by a 3.5L Twin-Turbo V6 petrol engine that produces 409 horsepower (hp) and 650 Newton-metres (Nm) of Torque, which is mated with a 10-speed automatic transmission. It is pertinent to mention that Toyota has retired its older V8 engine in favor of the new and more powerful V6 engine for its fuel-efficiency and environment friendly operation.
