Another Tough Day for Residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi 26 Number Chungi has been completely sealed off, blocking GT Road traffic. Containers have partially obstructed direct traffic from Motorway M1 and M2 toll plazas towards Srinagar Highway (Kashmir Highway) and are expected to fully block the route by morning.

In a video message on Social Media Platform X, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat declared, “Jalsa Hokar Rahay Ga.” Meanwhile, the Islamabad Administration has already issued a notification for school closures today. However, no directives have been issued regarding offices, leaving the middle and lower-middle classes to bear the brunt as usual.

Travelers are advised to avoid the affected areas. Sources report that Margalla Avenue is also blocked with containers, effectively sealing off Islamabad from all sides, including Bara Kahu and Faizabad, Islamabad Expressway.
