An incident occurred in G-15 Markaz, Islamabad, when an underage boy failed to stop a car in a parking lot, leading to a crash inside a local grocery store.
The incident took place when two women and a young boy arrived at A Mart for grocery shopping. The boy, attempting to park the car, lost control and drove it down the stairs and into the store.
Two staff members were injured as a result of the crash. Emergency services and police were promptly called to the scene to address the situation.
This incident highlights the issue of underage driving within the sectors of Islamabad, a practice that poses significant dangers. Despite the presence of traffic police, underage driving remains common. Many parents, rather than discouraging minors from driving, allow them to take the wheel for short trips, exacerbating the risk of such accidents.
Authorities are urging parents to act responsibly and prevent minors from driving to ensure the safety of all road users.
