The Utility Stores Corporation (USC) has reduced the price of branded Ghee and Cooking Oil at all its outlets across the country.
According to the details, the reduction in price of branded Ghee and Cooking Oil will take place with immediate effect for the relief of the general public.
The spokesperson of the USC stated that price of Habib Ghee was reduced by Rs. 34 per kg, while Habib Cooking Oil saw a reduction of Rs. 36 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of Eva Ghee has been reduced by Rs. 39 per kg and price of Soya Supreme Ghee has been slashed by Rs. 25 per kg and the price of 1 Litre of Soya Supreme Cooking Oil has seen a reduction of Rs. 7.
He added that special subsidies available on Flour, Sugar, and Ghee have also been extended by the Federal Government under the Prime Minister’s Relief Package to all Utility Stores across the country.
Utility Stores Corporation recently launched SMS service 5566 for transparent and innovative procurement of subsidized items, further improving the supply of quality and affordable items to consumers.
The federal government is also taking further steps to better supply of affordable and quality food items to the people.
