According to the weather update provided by Lahore’s Regional Meteorological Center, we can expect cold and dry weather in Islamabad, Murree, Galliyat and most parts of the Punjab province, while very cold and dry is expected in Kashmir.
As per the weather update, it is expected that dense fog / smog will prevail in plains of Punjab, including Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Lahore, Gujranwala, Narowal, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Khanewal, Multan, Khanpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Sialkot, Hafizabad, Gujarat, Mandi Bahauddin, Jhelum, Bhakkar, Layyah, Dera Ghazi Khan and surrounding during morning and night hours.
Frost may occur at few places in Kashmir and Pothohar region during morning hours.
On Monday, the weather remained cold and dry in Islamabad, Kashmir and most of Punjab. Furthermore, there was fog / smog in several areas, which include Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Lahore, Gujranwala, Narowal, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Khanewal, Multan, Khanpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Sialkot, Hafizabad, Gujarat, Mandi Bahauddin, Jhelum, Bhakkar, Layyah, Dera Ghazi Khan.
Meanwhile, the intensity of fog / smog is likely to remain worse during late night hours today.
The maximum temperature recorded in Punjab was 24.5°C in Jhang, Joharabad, and Sargodha, while the minimum temperate was -1.0°C in Murree. Similarly, the maximum temperature was 23.9°C in Kashmir’s Kotli, while the the minimum temperature was -2.5°C in Rawalakot.
