Weather Update: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts light to moderate rainfall in Karachi from the evening today and heavy thunderstorms the fourth spell of monsoon from tomorrow Friday and Saturday as the fourth spell of monsoon begins in the port city.

MeT (PMD) issued a weather advisory of a monsoon low pressure from bay of Bengal approaching Sindh on Thursday evening.
PMD issued the urban flooding warning for Karachi and Hyderabad.
PMD added heavy thunderstorms and rain is expected in Karachi, Hyderabad, Badin, Thatta, Umarkot, Tando Allah Yar, and Mirpurkhas from the evening.
National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and Frontier Works Organization (FWO) continues to clear the sewerage drains (NALLA) in Karachi.
Chief Minister’s secretariat Sindh issued a notification directing all the local government officials across the province.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has issued a monsoon advisory of MET office.According to the advisory, rains will start from today in the divisions of Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpur Khas.In view of this situation, the Chief Minister of Sindh has imposed the district war duty of all ministers, special assistants and MPS, elected representatives.
NOTE: Avoid any contact with electric poles in Karachi and Hyderabad, The expected heavy rain in Karachi will cross 100mm.
Meanwhile, Weather in Islamabad and Rawalpindi temperature soars 39c today (Feels like 44c) today.

It appears Sindh and specifically Karachi had more rainfall as compared to any other city and fourth spell is expected to from the evening.
