ISLAMABAD / RAWALPINDI – A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH is in effect for the twin cities from Monday night to Wednesday early morning due to an incoming strong Western Disturbance.
According to forecast, during this time a windstorm with gusts of 90 km/h+ is expected with scattered HAILSTORM and MODERATE to HEAVY RAINFALL.
The Isolated large hail is possible, therefore, take precautions to protect your cars, crops and animals from potential damage/harm. Followed by HEAVY RAINFALL especially in the northern and western parts of Rawalpindi / Islamabad.

Some places are expected to exceed a monthly average of October in an hour (35 mm)
The Temperature is expected to drop to 11-13 °C during thunderstorms in the capital city proper, and 12-15 °C in Rawalpindi.
Maximum temperature expected on Tuesday: 20-22 °C. (8-10 °C below average) COLD single digit minimum temperature (around 8 °C) is possible in Islamabad city after the disturbance departs on Thursday. A proper cold will set in at night
