The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) anticipates primarily dry weather in Karachi, Hyderabad, and most regions of Sindh over the next two days. The synoptic situation indicates the prevalence of continental air across the majority of the country, with a shallow westerly wave observed over northwest Balochistan.
As a result of these atmospheric conditions, dry weather is expected in Karachi, Hyderabad, and various districts of Sindh during Tuesday night and the subsequent two days. Notably, areas including Jacobabad, Mohenjo-Daro, Larkana, Sukkur, Dadu, Padidan, and Ghotki may experience smog/fog during morning and night hours.
For Wednesday and Thursday, the minimum temperature in Karachi is forecasted to range between 16-18 degrees Celsius. Similarly, Hyderabad is expected to witness minimum temperatures ranging from 16-18 C on these days.
In the past 24 hours, dry weather prevailed over most districts of the province. Mithi recorded the lowest temperature at 07 C, marking it as the coldest place in the region. The relative humidity in the evening was documented at 79 per cent in Mithi, 52 per cent in Karachi, and 71 per cent in Hyderabad.
Residents are advised to stay updated on weather conditions, especially in areas prone to smog/fog, and take necessary precautions during the specified hours.
