The NDMA has predicted that several regions, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, South Punjab, and parts of Sindh, could experience rain, wind and dust storms, and thunderstorms.

In light of these forecasts, the NDMA warns of potential floods and landslides in areas such as Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Galliyat, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. The NDMA advises residents and travelers in these regions to take safety precautions to ensure a safe holiday period.

To help people stay informed, the NDMA has introduced the “PAK-NDMA Disaster Alert” app. This application provides real-time alerts, weather advisories, and specific safety guidelines. The app also offers public service messages to keep users updated and prepared for any potential emergencies.
