In the latest weather update, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted rain in upper parts of the country, while the rest of the country will likely experience a hot and dry spell for the next twelve hours.
However, rain with strong winds and thunderstorm is likely in Kashmir and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa regions, including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, and Abbottabad
Rain with strong winds and thunderstorms is also expected in Gilgit-Baltistan, and northeast Punjab regions, including Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, and Narowal.
Meanwhile, the temperatures recorded in major cities include 18°C in Islamabad, 24°C in Lahore, 26°C in Karachi, 19°C in Peshawar, 8°C in Quetta, 9°C in Gilgit Baltistan, 14°C in Murree, and 15°C in Muzaffarabad.
