The upcoming Western Disturbance (WD), marking the inaugural one of the winter season 2023-24, is set to influence diverse regions across Pakistan from November 25th to 27th.
This WD is projected to bring about a shift in weather patterns, with expectations of cloudy conditions and light rains in Balochistan, Punjab, and Sindh provinces. Meanwhile, mountainous areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) and Kashmir are likely to experience snowfall.
While there’s a bit of uncertainty in the forecast, meteorologists hint at the possibility of a few thunderstorms and moderate rains in the eastern strip of the country, specifically in Eastern Sindh/Tharparkar and Eastern Punjab. However, the system is predicted to be relatively less productive in terms of precipitation.
Interestingly, there’s a chance of showers gracing Karachi on November 25th and 26th. As citizens prepare for potential weather changes, authorities emphasize vigilance and preparedness, acknowledging the dynamic nature of meteorological predictions.
