WEATHER UPDATE: More rain is expected in Karachi after its first winter spell on Tuesday according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department spokesperson Khalid Malik.
The next spell of rain in Karachi is expected during the first week of December and the weather will remain cold with temperatures lower than usual until January.
During the next 24 hours, the city will stay partly cloudy with minimum temperature around 14.5 degrees Celsius while maximum temperature will remain between 23 – 25 degrees Celsius.
Cold and strong winds are expected in Karachi for the next two to three days with speeds of 18km to 21km per hour according to the Met Office.
Another western system is expected to arrive in Karachi during the first week of December that will lead to more rain and colder weather for the port city.
Yesterday’s highest rainfall was recorded at 4mm at PAF Masroor Base according to the Met Department and the lowest amount of rain was recorded at Nazimabad at 1mm.
