Weather Update: Rain, Gusty Winds Expected in Lahore and Parts of Punjab

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), in the latest weather update, has forecast more intermittent rains and gusty winds in Lahore and various parts of Punjab on Thursday night, Friday, and Saturday. This weather change is due to a westerly wave prevailing over Pakistan’s upper and central regions.

Under these conditions, rain-wind/thunderstorms are expected in the following areas:

Temperature Forecast

In Lahore, the maximum temperatures are expected to remain between 39°C and 41°C on Friday and Saturday.

Hafizabad, Bahawalnagar, Dera Ghazi Khan: 04 mm
Jhelum, Gujranwala, Sahiwal: 03 mm

Lahore, Attock, Kot Addu, Faisalabad, Noorpur Thal: 01 mm

Temperature and Humidity

Bahawalpur recorded the highest temperature in the province at 41°C.
Lahore recorded a maximum temperature of 39°C, with the relative humidity in the evening at 26%.
