Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul has left social media in a frenzy after she shared her definition of of COVID-19 which is the official name given to the novel coronavirus.
During an interview on PTV news Minister Zartaj Gul said that the number 19 in COVID-19 means that there are 19 points to the coronavirus that can be applied by countries in any way.
However, COVID-19 actually stands for ‘Coronaivurs Disease 2019’. The ‘CO’ stands for ‘corona’, ‘VI’ stands for ‘virus’, ‘D’ stands for ‘disease’ and ’19’ stands for the year 2019.

Her definition of the world sent people into shock as most did not except Zartaj Gul who is the Minister of State for Climate Change to come up with such a definition.
However, she did own her mistake and offer an explanation which is more than anyone can for since everybody makes mistakes and what matters is how they respond afterwards.
She took to Twitter saying that what she actually meant was that the COVID-19 infection effect and intensity is different across different countries. Even saying that she is open to criticism as it only makes her stronger.
