Players draft for the fourth season of Abu Dhabi T10 League is out, and alongside some hailed cricketers from all over the globe, a dozen energetic Pakistani players have been booked in by various franchises. The tournament is scheduled to run from January 28 to February 06, at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
The ten-over format tournament, Abu Dhabi T10 league was launched by T ten sports management in 2017. The cricket battle consist of 8 teams, namely Team Abu Dhabi, Deccan Gladiators, Bangla Tigers, Qalandars, Delhi Bulls, Northern Warriors, Pune Devil and reigning champions Maratha Arabians. The squads are comprised of performers from all over the world and likewise cricketers from green shirts also serve their part in the bat-ball combat.
Abu Dhabi T10 League – Pakistani players
A dozen of emerging and veteran Pakistani players have been picked by all eight franchises of Abu Dhabi T10 League, based on their availability and outclass performances in past tournaments. In addition, the pride of Pakistan, Shahid Afridi and Shohaib Malik have been included among eight iconic players by team Qalandars and current title holders Maratha Arabians respectively.
Qalandars: Talking about the Qalandars, the team is owned by PSL team Lahore Qalandars, and embraces of majority Pakistani batsmen, spinners and all-rounders. The 2021 squad of the aforementioned group names the massively acclaimed Shahid Afridi, together with Sharjeel Khan, Sohail Tanvir, Asif Ali, Hassan Ali, Maaz Khan, Sohail Akhtar and Khursheed Anwar.
Deccan Gladiators: Furthermore, among Pakistani young picks for T10 League 2021 , the 18 year old fast bowler Zeeshan Zameer, who astounded the spectators with his game of wickets in U19 one day tournament, has been selected by Deccan Gladiators. The team also has Pakistan’s wicket keeper batsman Azam Khan.

Maratha Arabians: The champions of the previous season, Maratha Arabians have drafted the two most celebrated batsmen from team green. The franchise names Shohaib Malik as their iconic players, followed with the old-stager Muhammad Hafeez in the batting lineup.
Team Abu Dhabi: Pakistan’s fast bowler Usman Shinwair has been taken in by team Abu Dhabi for this season.
Northern Warriors: Northern Warrios has drafted young pacer Amir yamin, who performed brilliantly for Karachi Kings in recently concluded PSL 2020. The franchise also houses the old-performer Wahab Riaz of team green.
Pune Devils: The highly admired and extraordinary fast pacer, Muhammad Amir, who recently announced retirement from International cricket, has been drafted by Pune Devils of Abu Dhabi T10 League.
