Renowned singer Ali Zafar is all set to return for the Pakistan Super League 2024 (PSL 9) anthem with tournament scheduled to commence from February 17, 2024. It is pertinent to mention that Ali Zafar has sang the HBL PSL anthems for the first three editions titled, “Ab Khel Ke Dikha”, “Ab Khel Jamay Ga”, and “Dil Se Jaan Laga De”.
Ali Zafar was initially replaced as the primary singer for HBL PSL anthems due to some legal controversies. However, the new Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management has decided to bring the singer back for the upcoming PSL 9 anthem, especially after fans expressed disappointment from other singers brought on for the project for the last few tournaments.
It bears mentioning that Ali Zafar was replaced by several other artists, including Atif Aslam, Ali Azmat, Fawad Khan, Aima Baig, Asim Azhar, The Young Stunners, Naseebo Lal, and Shae Gill, who joined PSL anthem project during the last few seasons

However, the PCB has not yet announced a release date for the PSL 9 anthem. Although, we can expect it to drop any time during the next few days as the tournament is scheduled to start is two weeks. The Pakistan Super League is all set to commence from February 17 and conclude on March 18 and the tournament will be held in four different cities, including Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi.
