Renowned Pakistan cricketer Shadab Khan has been appointed as the brand ambassador for the Punjab police, solidifying his association with the law enforcement agency. In a ceremony held at the Central Police Office, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Usman Anwar bestowed upon Shadab Khan an honorary DSP rank, pinning badges on his uniform.
During the event, Shadab Khan received a comprehensive briefing on police operations, enhancing his understanding of the force’s crucial role in maintaining law and order. Expressing his gratitude, the all-rounder deemed the appointment an honor, stating, “I have never thought of becoming a part of the Punjab Police.”
IGP Usman Anwar highlighted that numerous renowned athletes have previously been associated with the police force, underlining the collaborative efforts between sports personalities and law enforcement agencies.
