The Pakistan Super League 2024 (PSL 9) ticket website became the target of a cyber attack on Tuesday.
In a post on Facebook, the official Facebook page stated, “There has been a cyberattack on the #HBLPSL9 ticketing website (pcb.tcs.com.pk).”
It added, “Technical team of the ticketing partner are addressing the issue with efficiency. We anticipate a swift resolution and expect the website of the service provider to be operational again shortly.”
The TCS website for HBL PSL 9 tickets was live soon after the announcement.
It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) opened sales for the upcoming Pakistan Super League tournament on 6th February with physical sales to commence from 12th February.
Meanwhile, the tournament is all set to begin from 17th February, which is going to be played in four cities, including Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi.
