Renowned pride of Pakistan, Muhammad Rashid has bagged another world record to his name, securing his entry into the Guinness Book of World Record.
Recently, the president of Pakistan Academy for Martial Arts, Muhammad Rashid has cracked open a total of 254 walnuts under a minute, outshining his Indian antagonist, S. Navin Kumar, who achieved the championship back in 2017. Kumar had cracked 239 walnuts per minute, whereas Rashid has overruled him by 15 walnuts.
Hence, with the latest achievement, the artist now possesses 45 world records to his name, most of which include split opening of objects. Some of Muhammad Rashid’s Guinness world records include, ‘most walnuts crushed by the hand in one minute’, ‘most watermelons crushed with the head in 30 seconds’, ‘most drinks cans crushed with the elbow in one minute’ and ‘most spins of a fire staff in one minute’ to name a few.

In an interview with a news source, Muhammad Rashid revealed that that his opponent Navin had previously smashed his record of cracking 180 walnuts, by breaking 217 in one minute. He says he attempted to break the record and managed to crack a sum of 240 with his head. After Rashid’s second attempt, Guinness World Record organizers brought both Naveen and Rashid face to face to make an attempt for the record at an Italian TV show, “Lo Show Dei Record.”
I had only seven days to prepare for the attempt,” Rashid told. “It was just an amazing experience,” he added. “I want to say that do what you can under you capacity to make country proud. It doesn’t matter what sport or field you are representing, just do you best for Pakistan.” –Says the martial arts expert, Muhammad Rashid.
Here to mention, not only Rashid, his daughter also follows her father’s legacy as she broke the record for the “most full contact elbow strikes in one minute using alternate elbows (female)” with an incredible 242 on previous month of 16th August 2020. Hence, the father daughter duo continues to earn accolades for Pakistan on International platforms.

Also, Pakistan Academy for Martial Arts, owned by Muhammad Rashid has 59 World Records to its name.
Hailing from Karachi, Muhammad Rashid gained recognition in 2013 from Punjab Youth Sports Festival, where he broke the record for the most bottle caps removed with the head in one minute. His talent and passion was soon recognized as he started buckling up for international competitions. Later, in 2014, he finally performed on Global platforms and hasn’t stopped since then. Besides, Rashid owns a YouTube channel, where he teaches tricks and techniques to the youth for similar competitions.
