The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) on Monday decided to ease restrictions on the crowd capacity for the second-leg of the PSL 7 matches being held in Lahore.
In a statement on Monday, the NCOC allowed the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to allow 50 percent crowds in PSL 7 matches till February 15, while 100 percent crowd capacity will be allowed for PSL 2022 matches being held from February 16 onwards.
Previously, the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) had restricted crowd capacity to 25 percent occupancy for the first-leg of the PSL 2022 matches being played in Karachi due to surging cases of the coronavirus, especially the Omicron variant.

However, the NCOC has decided to ease restrictions as the passivity ratio for COVID-19 cases has started to decline. The forum has mandated that everyone attending PSL 7 matches must be fully vaccinated, except for children under 12 years of age, who are now allowed to enter the stadium as well.
The decision was taken in the NCOC meeting in Islamabad, with Federal Minister for Planning and Development, and Special Initiatives Asad Umar in the chair.
