Australia skipper Aaron Finch helped Australia secure victory over Pakistan in a one-off PAK vs AUS T20I at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. Australia was able to beat Pakistan by 3 wickets with 5 balls remaining as they easily achieved the target of 163 runs set by the host team during the first innings of the game.
Pakistan started off strong with Muhammad Rizwan scoring 23 runs off 19 balls, while Babar Azam added a strong 66 runs to the score from just 46 balls. However, Fakhar Zaman, who followed Mohammad Rizwan, was dismissed with no score by Aaron Finch.
Meanwhile, the other batsman failed to give an impressive performance against Australia bowling, except Khushdil Shah, who still managed 24 runs off 21 balls, while Usman Qadir added much needed 18 runs to the score total from just 6 balls, allowing Pakistan to set a target of 163 runs for the guests.
Australia was strong in its defense, especially with Finch, who managed to score 55 runs off just 45 balls, while Travis Head, Marcus Stonis, and Ben McDermott helped score the rest of the target set by Pakistan.
Australia won against Pakistan in the one-off T20I by three wickets.
