Pakistan won against West Indies by 8 wickets with 10 balls remaining in the eight match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup at Canberra today.
West Indies had won the toss and elected to bat first although that might not have been the best decision as the team struggled from the very start of the match losing two wickets in the early overs.
Stefanie Taylor scored 43 runs off 47 balls and Shemaine Champbelle was able to also score 43 runs off 36 balls and were able to add some score to the total. Others however, failed to perform.

Pakistan’s batting line up however gave a good performance and was able to chase the score very easily and won the match by 8 wickets with 10 balls still remaining.
Bismah Maroof scored the highest of 38 runs off 37 balls and others were not that far behind with Javeria Khan scoring 35 off 28 balls followed by Muneeba Ali and Nida Dar with 25 of 26 balls and 18 off 28 balls respectively.
Bismah Maroof and Nida Dar ended the match bringing the win to Pakistan
