The T20I and ODI matches in the Pakistan vs Australia (PAK vs AUS) series have been shifted to Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore because the current political situation in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, said Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid on Friday.
The decision has been made keeping in view of the political tensions in Islamabad as the session for the vote of no-confidence motion against Prime Minister draws near, which may lead to a conflict-like situation in the capital and adjoining areas.
Therefore, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to shift the Pakistan vs Australia T20I and ODI matches to Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The three ODI matches and a T20 international will be played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore from 29th March to 4th April.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has also announced the ODI and T20I squads for the Pakistan vs Australia series.
