Peshawar Zalmi vs Karachi Kings – PSL 8 Match 17 Highlights

The second leg of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 8 2023) continues with Peshawar Zalmi vs Karachi Kings going against each other in Match 17 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Peshawar Zalmi won the match by 24 runs.

Karachi won the toss and decided to bowl first, but Peshawar Zalmi were still able to set a target of 198 runs despite loss of early wickets with Mohammad Haris, Babar Azam, and Saim Ayub being dismissed in the first over.

However, the rest of the batter’s pulled through with Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Haseebullah Khan, Rovman Powell scoring 56, 50, and 64 runs, respectively. Meanwhile, Aamer Jamal came in towards the end and managed to add another 13 runs from just 5 balls.

Karachi Kings struggled to chase the 198-run target set by Peshawar Zalmi.

Despite losing an early wicket as Adam Rossington was dismissed with just 15 runs off 8 balls, Mathew Wade managed 53 runs off 41 balls, but the rest of the batting lineup failed miserably with Tayyab Tahir, Irfan Khan, and Shoaib Malik only scoring 6, 4 and 1 run(s), respectively.

Ben Cutting also managed 15 runs off 13 balls, while Imad Wasim gave Peshawar Zalmi a much needed boost as he scored 57 runs off 30 balls and remained on the pitch till the very end. However, the other batters that followed failed to perform as well.
