Karachi Kings has won by 5 wickets with 8 balls remaining against Islamabad United in the 14th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2020) in Rawalpindi.
Karachi Kings had won the toss and like always, elected to field first. Despite the loss, Islamabad United played a great game scoring a total of 183/3.
Luke Ronchi didn’t disappoint and played an excellent innings scoring 85 runs off just 58 balls followed by Shadab Khan who scoring 54 runs off just 31 balls but unfortunately their hard work couldn’t bring them the win they deserved.

Batting for the Kings, Alex Hales scored the highest amount of runs at 52 off just 30 balls followed by Cameron Delport who scored 38 runs off just 28 balls. The rest of the team also gave a good performance with Sharjeel Khan scoring 38 runs off 20 balls while Imad Wasim was able to get 32 runs off 15 balls.
Babar Azam however had a bad luck and got out with 0 runs on the scoreboard. Iftikhar Ahmed had the same bad luck and made only 1 run.
This marks the second win for the Kings out of a total of four matches played so far in the tournament.
Earlier, the 13th match of the PSL 2020 tournament between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi that was scheduled to take place in Rawalpindi was abandoned due to rain with both teams getting a point each.
