Lahore Qalandars had won the toss and elected to field first that did not turn out to be the best decision since Islamabad ended up making an impressive 198/3.

Colin Munro ended up giving an exceptional performance making an impressive 87 runs off just 59 balls followed by Luke Ronchi who make 48 runs off 31 balls. Shadab Khan however, did not perform well and was only able to make 7 runs.

The second innings began with Lahore Qalandars who were only able to play 18.5 overs before the whole team was out and made only 127 runs.

Having a rough start to their batting with Chris Lynn getting out on the second ball with 0 runs. Salman Butt and Ben Dunk were still able to make 21 and 25 runs respectively while Usman Shinwari came in towards the end and made 30 runs off 10 balls with mostly boundaries.
