PSL 2020: Lahore Qalandars VS Multan Sultans – Match 33 Highlights

KARACHI: Pakistan Super League fifth edition (PSL 2020) – Match 32 between Lahore Qalandars VS Multan Sultans at National Stadium. Qalandars won by 25 runs.

Multan Sultans won the toss and elected to bowl first giving the opposing team, Lahore Qalandars a chance to rack up a score of 182/6 making a recovering from the bottom of the score-board all the way to final against Karachi Kings tomorrow.

David Wiese gave an exceptional performance scoring 48 runs off just 21 balls helping the team to victory by putting them in a strong position with a solid run total.

Tamim Iqbal also performed well scoring 30 runs off 20 balls, Fakhar Zaman added 46 runs off 36 balls to the total while Mohammad Hafeez and Samit Patel scored 19 and 26 runs respectively from 21 and 16 balls.

Multan Sultans were off to a good start chasing the run total but were set back by David Wiese and Haris Rauf who took three wickets each. However, the team did manage to score 157 runs but unfortunately could not play the complete 20 runs before Qalandars sent everyone packing.

Nonetheless, Adam Lyth gave it his all scoring 50 runs off 29 balls while Khushdil Shah managed to add 30 runs off 19 balls to the run total but could not get the team to victory.
