Lahore Qalandars won the 16th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2020) at Qaddafi Stadium Lahore by 37 runs against Quetta Gladiators marking the first win for Lahore Qalandars in the tournament.
Quetta Gladiators had the toss and elected to field first which turns out wasn’t the best decision on their part as Lahore Gladiators scored an impressive 209/5 in the first innings certainly putting great pressure on the opposing team.
Ben Dunk gave an exceptional performance scoring 93 runs off just 43 balls but unfortunately couldn’t complete his century. Samit Patel followed with 71 runs off just 40 balls which was also an outstanding performance by the batsman.

Quetta Gladiators were second to bat but unfortunately had a rough start or better a rough game. However, Ben Cutting still gave it his all and scored 53 for his squad from just 27 balls followed by Mohammad Nawaz and Shane Watson with 24 and 23 runs respectively.
Salman Irshad bowling for the Qalandars did an excellent job taking 4 wickets off just 29 runs and certainly making it even more difficult for the Quetta Gladiators to win.
