Multan Sultan won the toss and elected to field first which was the right decision as Peshawar Zalmi had a very tight innings with almost nobody able to score more than a 10 except Haider Ali who scored 47 from 27 balls and Dawson who scored 22 runs. The team was all out in the 18th over.

Multans Sultans was second to bat and had a rough start with the first three batsman getting out in the early overs but Rossouw and Khushdil Shah took care of the match with Rossouw scoring 49 runs from 42 balls and unfortunately was unable to complete his half century.. Khushdil Shah added 43 runs to the score from just 29 balls.

Over on the bowling side Sohail Tanvir gave an exceptional performance taking 4 wickets for only 13 runs and was named Man of the Match.
