Pakistan Super League Seventh Edition (PSL 7 2022) – Match 14 Highlights – Karachi Kings vs Islamabad United (KK vs IU) at Karachi National Stadium – Islamabad United by 42 runs.

Islamabad United won the toss and elected to bat first and able to set a target of 178 for Karachi Kings to win the match during the second innings.

It was a decent effort by Islamabad United with Paul Stirling and Alex Hales taking off with an excellent start scoring 39 and 30 runs off 30 and 21 balls, respectively. Colin Munro and Shadab Khan followed both players and added 33 and 34 runs off 33 and 19 balls.

Karachi Kings had a rough start from the beginning of the second innings as Sharjeel Khan and Babar Azam were both dismissed very early in the game after scoring just 6 and 8 runs off 7 and 10 balls, respectively. Sahibzada Farhan managed 25 runs off 18 balls before being sent back to the pavilion.

Ian Cockbain and Imad Wasim were dismissed early as well after scoring just 2 and 9 off 5 and 14 balls, respectively. However, Mohammad Nabi managed to score 47 runs off 28 balls, but at this point it wasn’t enough to take Karachi Kings to victory.

Islamabad United won by 42 runs.
