Pakistan Super League Seventh Edition (PSL 7 2022) – Match 11 Highlights – Karachi Kings vs Peshawar Zalmi (KK vs PZ) at Karachi National Stadium – Peshawar Zalmi won by 9 runs.

Karachi Kings won the toss and elected to bowl first allowing Peshawar Zalmi to set a target of 174 to win the match in the second innings.

Peshawar Zalmi gave a good performance with their batting with opener Hazratullah Zazai scoring 41 runs off 27 balls, while Kamran Akmal added 21 runs to the total from just 19 balls. Haider Ali, who came to the pitch after Kamran Akmal, was only able to score 16 runs off 21 balls, but Shoaib Malik made up for it through his half century and score of 52 runs off just 28 balls.

Ben Cutting also managed 24 runs off 22 balls, while Sherfane Rutherford added 9 runs to the total from just 4 balls. Peshawar Zalmi managed to end the first innings setting a target of 174 runs for the Karachi Kings.

Karachi Kings went through a rough patch as opener Sharjeel Khan was sent back to the pavilion without scoring any runs, while Sahibzada Farhan, who came in after him, was sent packing as well for no score at all. However, the skipper of the team, Babar Azam, made up for it with his brilliant score of 90 runs from just 63 balls, but that wasn’t enough to take the team to victory,

Peshawar Zalmi won by 9 runs.
