Multan Sultans had a rough start with Shan Masood getting dismissed too early into the game, however, Mohammad Rizwan managed well and made up for it as he scored 53 runs off 51 balls alongside Aamer Azmat, who scored 33 runs off 22 balls and Rilee Rossouw, who scored much needed 65 runs off 42 balls.
Lahore Qalandars started off rough as Abdullah Shafique was dismissed after scoring just 5 runs and the entire batting order failed to perform against Multan Sultan, especially Shahnawaz Dahani, who managed to take 3 wickets for 19 runs and David Willey, who managed 2 wickets.
Fakhar Zaman was the only one to perform well and managed a score of 63 runs off 45 balls, however, that wasn’t going to be enough without the support of the remainder of the team. Multan Sultans won the 1st Qualifier (Match 31) of the PSL 7 by 28 runs.
Really good show by @MultanSultans tonight. They are off to the finals 👋🏼 @lahoreqalandars still have a chance to book a finals spot. #HBLPSL7 l #LevelHai l #LQvMS pic.twitter.com/zJyH7UkyN6
