Today’s PSL 9 match featured Islamabad United against Quetta Gladiators at Lahore Qaddafi Stadium. Quetta Gladiators emerged victorious, winning by 3 wickets with only 10 balls to spare.
Quetta Gladiators won the coin toss and chose to field first. They did well in restricting Islamabad United to a low score of just 138 runs. Islamabad United faced difficulties on the pitch, losing their openers Colin Munro and Alex Hales early, scoring only 20 and 21 runs respectively.
Salman Ali Agha was the highest scorer for Islamabad United in today’s match, making 33 runs. However, Shadab Khan and Azam Khan couldn’t perform well, both getting out for just 2 and 1 runs respectively.
Moreover, Jordon Cox scored 19 runs, Faheem Ashraf added 20 runs, and Imad Wasim and Shah contributed 9 and 2 runs respectively. It’s understandable as they are bowlers.

Additionally, Rilee Rossouw contributed 34 runs from 38 balls, and Sherfane Rutherford added 29 runs from 23 balls. Unfortunately, Sarfaraz Ahmed couldn’t perform, scoring only 1 run from 6 balls.
