PSL 9: Karachi Kings vs Quetta Gladiators – Match 16 Highlights

Today’s PSL 9 match took place at the National Stadium in Karachi between the Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators. The 16th game saw Quetta Gladiators defeat Quetta Gladiators by 5 wickets with no balls left.

The Quetta Gladiators won the toss and chose to bowl first. They did well to limit Karachi Kings to just 165 runs. Karachi Kings struggled early, losing their first batsman, Shan Masood, for only 2 runs. Tim Seifert scored 21 runs but was out after facing only 11 balls. James Vince added 37 runs before being dismissed.

Karachi Kings kept losing wickets regularly, with Shoaib Malik scoring 12 runs, Mohammad Nawaz 28, Kieron Pollard 13, Irfan Khan 15, and Hasan Ali 2. Anwar Ali provided a boost with 25 runs, helping set a target of 166 runs.

Quetta Gladiators had a good start, with Jason Roy making 52 runs and Saud Shakeel scoring 24. However, they faced difficulties as Khawaja Nafay got out for 2 runs, Sarfaraz Ahmed for 3, and Rilee Rossouw for 6.

However, the Quetta Gladiators bounced back, with Sherfane Rutherford hitting 58 runs and Akeal Hosein adding 22 runs, leading the team to victory.
