Usama Mir, a player for the Multan Sultans, had an amazing game against the Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League (PSL)! He bowled so well that he got rid of 6 players from the other team and only gave up 40 runs in his 4 turns bowling.
This helped his team, the Multan Sultans, win the game by a big margin of 60 runs! This was a big win against the defending champions, the Lahore Qalandars.
Usama’s performance was so good that he broke a record! He became the best bowler ever in a single game of the PSL for his team. Before him, this record belonged to the famous cricketer Shahid Afridi.
There are other cricketers who have also done really well in the PSL, like Ravi Bopara, Faheem Ashraf, Umar Gul, and Imran Tahir. But Usama’s performance stands out because he gave up the fewest runs while getting rid of the most players in one inning!
This is a big accomplishment for Usama and shows everyone his talent and dedication towards the sport.
