Adobe has introduced a groundbreaking tool named Project Music GenAI Control that will allow users to create and edit music directly from text descriptions (Text-to-Music). For instance, typing “epic electronic” can generate a fitting intro. The new system will also help to make AI music creation more mainstream.
Aside from generating music, Adobe’s Text-to-Music tool will also enable users to edit existing files and enhance their compositions by altering the tempo, intensity, structure, The tool can lengthen the tracks, diminish sections, or create loops without interrupting the music in the similar mode.
Unlike other AI music tools, Project Music GenAI Control offers precise editing similar to Photoshop’s pixel-level control, but for sound. This seamless workflow offers a one stop shop for creativity with no need to switch between applications.
Adobe protects AI from misuse by offering music that is safe for commercial use and by releasing content credentials that disclose AI assistance. Developed with universities, the tool is still experimental, with a user-friendly interface in progress. Nonetheless, it offers a glimpse into the future of intuitive audio creation.
