Apple has added the pregnant man emoji to iPhones with their latest iOS 15.4 update. The update brings 37 new emojis in total, which includes several gender-neutral emojis as well. However, there are mixed reviews on the new ‘pregnant man’ emoji rolled out by Apple as many people are criticizing the company, while others are still wondering if its a pregnant man or a man with a big belly.
It is pertinent to mention that the pregnant man emoji was part of the iOS beta version a few months back. Furthermore, Apple has added several gender-neutral emojis to the iPhone, including another genderless icon depicting a person with a crown, added to the already existing king and queen emojis.
The emojis come with five different skin tones that users can select from by pressing down on the icon on their keyboard. However, the internet has criticized Apple for some of the emojis, especially the pregnant man emoji.
Additionally, the iOS 15.4 update also brings new voice options for Siri along with the ability to provide date and time information when offline, improved page translation on Safari with Chinese and Italian support, etc. The update also brings the much needed support to unlock iPhones while wearing a mask.
However, the feature only works on the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 series.
