Apple has announced that it will be closing all its retail stores globally except those in Greater China till 27 March over coronavirus fears and the risk of transmission.
The announcement was made in a letter by Apple CEO Tim Cook on their website stating:
We will be closing all of our retail stores outside of Greater China until March 27,

The letter also said that the company is moving towards flexible work arrangements worldwide except of Greater China where it reopened its stores on Friday,
The letter read:
That means team members should work remotely if their job allows.
The letter also mentioned Apple’s contributions towards helping out during the coronavirus crisis and the total donations so far by the company that have reached $15 million.
The novel coronavirus has infected over 148,000 people globally with over 5,400 deaths. The majority of the cases have been from China where the virus originated in their Hubei Province.
