Apple is all set to unveil its latest iPhone 14 series this week, but the tech giant is also expected to reveal the second generation or AirPods Pro 2 at the September 7 event as well.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is expected to announce the 10th Generation of the iPad as well as the new iPad Pro 2022 and the Apple Watch Series 8.
The Cupertino-based tech giant is said to be planning to launch the AirPods Pro 2 as well during the event.
Based on the current details, the AirPods Pro 2 will feature Active Noise Cancellation similar to its predecessor, and its also rumored to offer a Transparency Mode as well.
Furthermore, its rumored that the highly anticipated second generation of AirPods Pro will also feature a major bump in battery life.
It is pertinent to mention that the original AirPods Pro offered more than 24 hours of audio playback and 18 hours of talk time when paired with the charging case.
There have also been rumors of the AirPods Pro 2 dropping the iconic stem design as well. Although, it appears that might not be the case since Apple typically houses the chips and the Active Noise Cancellation feature in the stem itself.
However, the charging case might be smaller and capable of emitting sound when the owner uses the Find My application if it gets lost.
We are going to have to wait until September 7 to see what ends up being released during Apple’s event.
